The Fairy's Kiss
Inspired by one of the most distinctive composers of the 20th Century, Igor Stravinsky and performed live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra.
Marking the 25th anniversary of the death of Scottish choreographer Sir Kenneth MacMillan, this re-staging of his early narrative work Le Baiser de la Fée (The Fairy’s Kiss) features a stunning new set and costumes designed by Gary Harris.
Contrastingly, Scottish Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Hampson, brings raw physicality to the programme. Featuring only three dancers, The Rite of Spring, tells the story of two brothers as they grow together, come of age and descend into a violent confrontation.
