Come with us on a journey through a North American landscape, and an evening of music rich with belief, fervour and visionary talent. From the simmering cinematic joy of Philip Glass' Company to the ecstatic frenzy of John Adams' 21st-century masterpiece, Shaker Loops, we descend, gently, into Copland's evocative, russet-toned depiction of a New England landscape, performed complete with clarinet, flute, bassoon and piano.
