Paul Banks (Interpol)

Following the release of his 'Julian Plenti Lives...EP' earlier this year, Interpol's Paul Banks is releasing his new solo album, simply called 'Banks', on October 23rd. He heads out on the road for a series of UK shows in 2013.

With 'Banks', Paul ditches his Julian Plenti alter-ego, and the resulting 10 song album is a tour-de- force of exhilarating minor-key intensity. Recorded in New York and Connecticut, the album is personal and epic, catchy and serpentine – much like your favourite Interpol albums – with Paul's wry humor, bare emotion, and varied influences all in full effect.
