The Playground is a two day festival in the sleepy seaside town of Whitehaven. One weekend every summer the playing fields of Whitehaven Rugby Union Club and Whitehaven Cricket Club burst into life with a musical feast that suits all ages.

The Playground festival blends the best of cumbrian talent, old favourites, new and upcoming bands as well as the music elite. This combination is a formula provided by the event promoters, Mighty Boof Promotions who year after year ensure that we get better and better.
