Sound City, the UK’s leading independent festival and conference for new music, is returning for another whirlwind weekend in 2021.
Liverpool is known all over the world for its musical heritage and emits a creative buzz unlike any other city in the UK. Sound City captures the vibrancy of the city with an unforgettable 3 day festival that sees established names perform alongside a constant stream of local, national and international emerging talent. After hosting numerous iterations of Sound City across 3 different continents over the last 12 years, this year the festival will once again return to venues in and around the Baltic Triangle, the epicentre of culture and creativity in Liverpool.
Across the weekend the streets of the Baltic Triangle are filled with opportunity for inspiration and discovery. Whether you absorb the city’s rich musical history as you wander, or move from venue to venue in a quest to find your new favourite artist, anybody who visits Sound City leaves with a deeper understanding of the musical histories of the past, present and future.
