One half of 80' synth pop legends Erasure. After selling in excess of 20 million records worldwide with Erasure, Andy Bell has also released a series of character solo albums, sung from the perspective of his alter-ego Torsten. It’s a role Andy first took up at the Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Festival in 2014 in ‘Torsten The Bareback Saint’.

'80s heartthrob Jason Donovan won nearly every Australian award during his time on Aussie soap Neighbours, and the hearts of millions. His vocal career began in 1988 when he released 'Especially for You' with Kylie Minogue and a debut solo album 'Ten Good Reasons'. Following the release of his second album in 1989, Jason became the biggest selling UK and European artist. He kicked off a successful West End career in 1991 with a starring role as Joseph in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the Palladium. British electronic band Blancmange first broke through in the early 80s with their mix of synthesizers and surrealism, fused in groundbreaking singles such as 'Feel Me', 'Living On The Ceiling', 'Blind Vision' and 'Don't Tell Me'. The epic synthpop of 'Waves' and a cover of Abba's 'The Day Before You Came' illustrated a band who were always willing to change and adapt new styles within their electronic framework. Alongside their contemporaries - the Human League, Magazine, Heaven 17 and OMD - Blancmange are now being recognised as true Electro-Pop trail blazing pioneers.

The original rude boy, and one of the undisputed forerunners of the ska movement. Best known for being the lead singer of The Specials, Neville is credited with changing the face of pop music not only once but twice. His biography reads like a who's who of rock. Not only has he worked with such legends as Elvis Costello, David Byrne and Ali Campbell but has also shared the stage with ska icons Rankin Roger (English Beat), forming Special Beat. Although this line up never actually recorded an album, they successfully toured the US with Sting and Steel Pulse before embarking on their own headline tour.

Owen Paul, the Scottish singer, producer and co-writer of the 1986 UK and European smash summer hit 'My Favourite Waste Of Time', has done many things in the twenty or so years since he first came to musical prominence. He has played a leading role in a major musical theatre production, toured the UK and Europe with Phil Collins as one of ' Mike and the Mechanics ' as well as being their vocal arranger on their last album ' Rewired ', and Owen has even been harassed by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne in the infamous " noisy neighbours " episode on MTV's record breaking show ' The Osbournes '.

Jennie Matthias first burst onto the pop scene in 1981 as the lead singer of the well-loved '80s all girl band The Belle Stars. After signing with the legendary Stiff Records the band produced four UK hits – ‘Sign of the Times’, ‘The Clapping Song’, ‘Sweet Memory’ and ‘Iko Iko’. The rich Belle Star sound was enhanced by Jennie’s Ska and Reggae roots. ‘Iko Iko’ became a hit in the US charts and achieved worldwide recognition following its appearance in the Oscar winning Rain Man. In 1987 Jennie helped form the band Dance Like A Mother” and recorded album tracks with The System in New York, then soon after with Randy Jackson, Preston Glass and Narada Michael Walden in California. Jennie continues to delight audiences with rich fusions of ska, rock, pop, latin, dun, blues and beyond.
