BEAK> were formed in January 2009 by three Bristol musicians, Billy Fuller, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow. Sometimes a band can be no more than the sum of it's parts, but BEAK> are an equation in which it's impossible to define equivalents or totals. Instead the meeting of three talents form a foundation from which ideas assimilate and propagate.

Named after the the child-murdering villain from the classic ballad, Lankum are a four-piece traditional folk group from Dublin, Ireland, who combine distinctive four-part vocal harmonies with arrangements of uilleann pipes, concertina, Russian accordion, fiddle and guitar. Their repertoire spans humorous Dublin music-hall ditties and street-songs, classic ballads from the Traveller tradition, traditional Irish and American dance tunes, and their own original material. The band was originally formed as an experimental-psychedelic-folk-punk-duo by brothers Ian and Daragh Lynch in the early 2,000’s, and has since progressed through a number of incarnations, culminating in the four piece group playing today (along with Cormac MacDiarmada and Radie Peat who joined in 2012). Although an acoustic group whose repertoire is fundamentally based on traditional song, influenced by legends such as Frank Harte, Planxty, The Dubliners and the Watersons, subtle traces of the group’s collective influences can be detected, from American old-timey music, krautrock, ambient techno and psychedelic folk, to black metal, drone, punk and rock n’ roll.

See The KVB tour dates
Organised noise, full of angular, abstract rhythms and frequent time changes. Post-post punk with sharp, brittle bones and a weight problem, long before hipsters told our kid brothers to like The Rapture.

Bath-based band with guitars flowing from beautiful whispers to pure noise with occasional dreamy vocals. They experiment with a compelling atmospheric sound, all cinematic soundscapes and yawning chasms of noise. They have been compared to Bardo Pond, Mogwai and early Sonic Youth and they carry on the proud lineage of off-kilter noise pop, joining the ranks of My Bloody Valentine, Suicide and many more.
