Waters of Tyne, To Fod on the Tyne Tour
It’s been a decade since their last tour but finally Billy Mitchell (Lindisfarne, Jack the Lad, Pitmen Poets) and Bob Fox (Warhorse Songman, Fox & Luckley, Pitmen Poets) are reunited again!
Hear two of the UK’s best known and loved singers recreate some of their favourite songs including original Lindisfarne classics and traditional folk arrangements. like: Sally Wheatley, Meet Me on the Corner, Dance To Your Daddy, Collier Laddie’s Wife, Clear White, Big River, Galway Shawl and many more!
Billy began playing guitar in the '60s when they were all made of wood and mostly the same colour. After a misspent youth in various bands including Jack the Lad, he formed Maxie & Mitch with Pete McIntyre and spent the last 20 years playing music in a funny way to anyone after a laugh. In 1996 Billy joined Newcastle's favourite sons; the critically acclaimed Lindisfarne. He only plays a handful of solo concerts every year, so catch him while you can.

Bob has been featured on national radio and television, won several awards, and was nominated by the BBC as Folk Singer Of The Year 2004. 'The most complete male artist in English Folk' (The Daily Telegraph) 'One of the best voices in England' (Ralph McTell).
