These shows were reschedled from 13th - 17th October 2026. Statement from band below:
Hi everyone,
We are terribly sorry but we have to postpone the shows in the Millennium Forum in Derry until next year under doctor’s advice. They will instead take place in February and your tickets will of course be valid for those shows. We have kept the sequence identical. So if you had a ticket for night 1 in Oct then you will have a ticket for night 1 in Feb, and so on. Sorry for the inconvenience but this had to be done.
If you purchased a ticket you will receive an email from the ticketing company who will be in touch about rescheduling and will also offer a refund if you like.
As many of you will know by now John broke his hand just before the Royal Albert Hall shows and he bravely powered through them all. What people didn’t see was what happened backstage after each show where J’s hand would swell up to twice the size and he was in an incredible amount of pain.
He finally got scans done on the hand a couple of days ago and those scans have revealed the hand is broken in four places. Incredibly impressive that he got through the RAH shows given how bad it is but the doc says he needs 3 months recovery time.
Everyone knows by now how resilient J is and if it were up to him he would power through the Derry shows too, BUT doing so could bring long lasting damage to the hand and we have to protect him from that.
We are massively looking forward to the shows and we have deep and soulful connection to the city, so, while we are sad we’ll miss the shows this year, we are of course beyond eager to play in Derry again.

Featuring - Snow Patrol
Northern Irish-Scottish alt-rock outfit, Snow Patrol, broke into the mainstream with their 2003 major-label debut, Final Straw, a collection of earnest tunes aligned with the sounds of contemporaries like Coldplay, Keane, and Travis.
They followed with the success of 2006's Eyes Open - which featured the international hit single Chasing Cars - paving the way for the band's UK's Top Ten platinum efforts A Hundred Million Suns and Fallen Empires.
After an extended six-year hiatus, during which time frontman Gary Lightbody worked as a songwriter for pop artists, the band returned with Wildness in 2018, with another six-year gap to their 2024 album, The Forest Is The Path.
It was announced by the PPL in 2019 that Chasing Cars was the most played song on UK radio of the 21st Century at that point.
