Norwegian composer and Tuba Player defies all conventions and preconceptions what is possible as a soloist on the tuba. He is adept with a masters voice in creating vast palettes of colours and exquisite tone in his music.

Since releasing Slow Eastbound Train with his trio and string orchestra, he has developed an instantly recognisable voice. Released in Feb 2015, this sublimely beautiful album rose his international profile to new heights prompting extensive touring throughout Europe and Japan as well as a 26min commission from BBC Concert Orchestra which was performed at London Jazz Festival in 2016. In Feb 2017 he will release ‘The Roc’, the follow up album to Slow Eastbound Train building on the intuitive interplay of this trio.
