Wales Millennium Centre is Wales’ national home for the performing arts in Cardiff Bay. One of the UK’s top cultural attractions and home to eight resident partners, this Welsh landmark stages musicals, opera, ballet, circus and contemporary dance alongside the UK’s largest programme of free performances.
On its 7.5 acre site, the Centre has a 1,900 seat lyric theatre (The Donald Gordon Theatre), designed for opera, large scale musicals, ballet and contemporary dance – as well as a studio theatre (Weston Studio, seating 250), the Dance House, seating 100 and home to the National Dance Company Wales, and an elegant concert hall and recording studio (Hoddinott Hall), which is home to the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and seats 350.
You can also eat and drink at ffresh, the Centre's own restaurant: locally sourced produce, fixed price lunch and dinner, à la carte menu, relaxed lounge bar.
