55-minute cabaret performance, solo female and piano, exploring the 'Cinderella Complex' and its' effect on our protagonist in later life.

Successfully mounted as part of the 2012 Adelaide Fringe and Cabaret Fringe Festivals, Megan Doherty is re-writing the show to incorporate elements of her later shows, 'Dirty Thirty' and 'Bittersweet and Song' to explore whether we ever really move on from our childhood fantasies.

Featuring music from as varied a range of composers as Tim Minchin, The Dresden Dolls, The Beatles, and contemporary Australian musicians such as Kate Miller-Heidke and Matthew Lee Robertson, The Girl Who Won't Grow Up is 'surprisingly quirky and refreshingly unique' Australian cabaret.
