by Elinor Cook
Melanie Hillyard director
Winner of the 2013 George Devine Award for Most Promising Playwright, Elinor Cook’s gripping tale centres around the viral video of a female being shot. Having premiered at London’s Gate Theatre in 2015, the play explores how the media manipulates people’s voyeuristic reactions to violence, as rage and revolution begin to stir within a desensitised society. We are delighted to present another of Elinor’s plays following the debut of Ten Weeks in our NEW: 2016 festival.
Venue: Caird Studio
