The Royal Shakespeare Company

On a Midsummer's night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the mischievous arms of an enchanted forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule.

With a feuding Fairy King and Queen, Quince and his friends present their play within a play, and mischief-maker Puck on hand, games of fantasy, love and dreams ensue in Shakespeare's beguiling comedy.

This unique production of A Midsummer Night's Dream is created by RSC professional actors and amateur theatre companies from all around the UK. In Cardiff, Bottom and the Mechanicals will be played by members of Everyman Theatre.

A co-production between the Royal Shakespeare Company and amateur companies across the UK. This is an arrangement developed between the RSC and Equity.
