Why do we like watching people perform? Why do we want to perform? Is it about sharing with a wider group of people or is it something more individual and personal? Through song, dance, drama and speciality acts young and emerging performers present a 45 minute event that explores performance.

performance: is an exuberant, exciting, visually striking and highly entertaining themed variety show. Created over a week with professional support, 14- 25 year old performers will present work that has been developed over a longer time in other contexts.

The ensemble of young musicians, dancers, actors and aerialists will work in collaboration with a team of artists from the New Theatre, Arts Active, Earthfall Dance, Community Music Wales, Literature Wales and others. We are delighted to welcome back award-winning director James Williams (Flown, Hitch, My Life in CIA) as the artistic director for this unique and highly entertaining event.
