English Youth Ballet

A sumptuous and scintillating Sleeping Beauty that highlights the magic and splendour of the triumph of good over evil. As Aurora pricks her finger the curse of the wicked Aunt Carabosse comes true until the Prince awakens her with a kiss.

International principal dancers Amy Drew, Adele Robbins, Oliver Speers, Brenden Bratulic and Steven Wheeler as Carabosse dance the leading roles in a glittering and highly dramatic production of this most famous of all ballets, featuring an impressive cast of up to 100 young dancers from the Cardiff area.

Now in its eighteenth year, English Youth Ballet has gained in popularity and established a formidable reputation for classic and dramatic productions of the famous full length classical ballets.

The policy of the English Youth Ballet is to perform full length ballet productions in the theatres outside London, giving young talented dancers an opportunity to perform within a professional setting.
