Verden Allen's Soft Ground
Verden Allen is well known for his unique Hammond organ sound that made Mott The Hoople famous. After leaving MTH, Verden toured and recorded with many other projects, including The Cheeks, a band with Martin Chambers and Jimmy Scott before they left to form The Pretenders. Verden has recorded five solo albums, and is now playing as hard and heavy on that Hammond as he ever did, playing many old Mott classics along with his own material which won't fail to leave you feeling like you have been entertained in the newly formed Soft Ground.
