Sue Webb will talk about the 180 year history of the constabulary in the historic county of Gloucestershire (which covered a larger area than now). Sue is the Constabulary's force archivist and previously worked in policing and in education. ??For the last 4 years Gloucestershire Constabulary has been involved with Gloucestershire Archives Heritage Lottery Project named For the Record. This project will develop facilities and capacity for looking after the historic county of Gloucestershire's documented history - records that already exist and those that will be created over time.
Seated will be socially distanced and adults are asked to wear a face covering indoors. Toilet facilities are available, and the mini cafe will be serving tea, coffee, cake, and wine. The Barn can be on the chilly side at this time of year so wrap up warm!
Free on-site car parking.
Tickets are £5 and booking is required via the Winterbourne Barn website or Ticketsource. The talk will also be live-streamed and advanced booking for that needs to be made in the same way.
