Skankfest 2013: Imperial Leisure + Slagerij + King Tuts Revenge + Beneath The Reef + Retrojunk + Clarky Cats + Mad Apple Circus + 6 Fears 7 + Brickwalls And Bruises + Ghouls + The Sneak Eazies + Shoot The Moon + Johnson & The Believers + Hell Death Fury + Waiting For Kate
Managing to be intense, dance-able and insanely catchy, it carries the Imperial Leisure guarantee of crowd and band alike having the time of their lives.
Originally from London, Imperial Leisure manifested during early 2000 in the midst of many a dubious college party. No surprise really then that they quickly gained a reputation for high-intensity, alcohol-tinged, good-time carnage.
Imperial Leisure tour dates
A Swindon-based ska punk band, renowned for their energetic live performances.
Slagerij tour dates
King Tuts Revenge are a Ska/Reggae/Punk band from The South-West regularly touring all over the UK with their fat edgy alternative sound that'll make your feet move, your head bang and your bits get all excited. They always bring their party vibe, making everyone within earshot dance and drink like nutters til they pass out only to wake up the next day unsure of how they got there or quite what that lingering smell is to find that their feet have become bloodied stumps and to see pictures of themselves on the front cover of The Sun naked with Prince Harry.
King Tut's Revenge tour dates
Clarky Cats are a 5 piece ska-punk band playing upbeat and energetic songs with some slow reggae numbers thrown in for good measure.
Clarky Cats tour dates
Currently based in London, but with roots all over the UK, genre spanning Ghouls are an energetic five-piece know for their manic stage antics and sweat inducing live shows. An infectious innovative blend of punk rock fuelled by a powerful horn section and driven by gypsy influences, they always get crowds on their feet and whipped into a frenzied party.
'...the promise of Neck Deep, if Neck Deep had a sax (KKKK)...' - Kerrang

“Seven Dudes with Instruments”
After forming in the late noughties, through a mutual love of head banging, seven piece Shoot the Moon spent their early years making noise in an old, beat-up garage in the sunny South-West of England. The noise soon evolved into their own distinctive, raw and powerful sound and before long the seven dudes with instruments were breaking through into the UK's underground music scene. They have since been on a relentless mission to deliver their high energy shows to audiences all over the UK and Europe, unleashing a whole new wave of music that breathes Punk Rock fire and sweats stomping Ska rhythm.
Past shows include Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival and Boomtown fair as well as prestigious support slots with the likes of Madness, The Specials and The Skints.
The release of their latest studio EP 'One' in 2016 has set the band up for yet another packed tour schedule keeping them on the road throughout the UK and Europe until late 2017.
'Shoot the Moon kicks bollox' - Suggs, Madness
'Ska/punk that gets you stomping!' - Mike Daniels, Godney Gathering
‘Shoot the Moon introduce a refreshing mix of punk/ska music that is not only original, but also electrifying’ – Pheobe Burt, Milk Magazine
