Greg Russell has established himself over the last 5 years as one of the most significant players on the UK folk scene. Possessed of an extraordinary voice that's 'full of character' (The Telegraph), his work has been inescapable and has seen him twice win a BBC Folk Award, both as a solo act and in his acclaimed duo with Ciaran Algar. It's in his solo form that we'll be welcoming him to this event, sharing his remarkable music in a remarkable location.

Support comes from Iona Lane & Abbey Thomas, a young folk duo that the Folkroom team believe will soon be making waves of their own in the scene. Pairing exciting new folk sounds with irresistible chemistry, the duo are definitely ones to watch.
