David Gilmour

Pink Floyd frontman David Gilmour will put out his first solo album in nine years later this year. Although he revealed no other details about the as-yet-untitled LP on his website, he has scheduled a number of tour dates in the U.K. and Europe for this September that will coincide with the LP, suggesting an autumn release.

This BRighton appearance is a special preview show before a short run of European concerts, culminating in five shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall. David’s live appearances are much anticipated, as much for the quality of his songs as his musicianship, including his guitar playing, which has led to him being acclaimed as ‘Best Fender guitar player ever’, amongst other accolades.
