The English Premiere Of Dewi Sant By Karl Jenkins (and Other Great Choral Classics).

James Llewelyn Jones conducts his three Birmingham choirs at Symphony Hall.

This Massed Choir, comprising Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir, Midlands Hospitals’ Choir and Phoenix Singers Birmingham, will be joined by other local adult choirs and several children’s choirs - over 300 singers in all.

They are delighted to present the English première of Dewi Sant, a recent work by eminent modern composer, Sir Karl Jenkins. The programme will also include other popular choral classics and individual items from the children’s choirs.

Accompaniment will be provided by the ensemble Gemini Brass, along with Richard Dawson on organ and other professional musicians, including pianists from the three main choirs.

Donations at the concert will support Birmingham’s Acorns Children’s Hospice.
