Mariinsky Orchestra of St Petersburg

Valery Gergiev and his legendary Mariinsky Orchestra make a hotly-awaited return to Birmingham, with a colourful all-Russian programme.

Gergiev and the Mariinsky need no introduction here, of course. Now, for one night only, they join pianist Denis Matsuev to perform Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff – music they play more excitingly than any other orchestra in the world.
