Founded in 1920, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has always had an illustrious career. In fact, the first concert was conducted by Sir Edward Elgar. The orchestra has grown into a 90-piece ensemble with a worldwide reputation.

Clare won British Jazz Singer of the year in both 2005 and 2007, and BBC Jazz Singer Of The Year 2006.

British trumpet maestro whose music is notable for its grace and invention. His original compositions confirm that he's a witty composer as well as a polished musical mind. As a sideman he has played with many major musicians, including Georgie Fame, Mike Westbrook, Frank Sinatra, Chris Hunter, Mike Oldfield, and Cleo Laine.
