Founded in 1920, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has always had an illustrious career. In fact, the first concert was conducted by Sir Edward Elgar. The orchestra has grown into a 90-piece ensemble with a worldwide reputation.

World-renowned classical pianist who regularly performs with the violinist Mark Steinberg as well as appearing in solo recitals.
Mitsuko Uchida is renowned for her interpretations of Mozart, Schubert, Schumann and Beethoven, but she has also illuminated the music of Berg, Schoenberg, Webern and Boulez for a new generation of listeners.
