Lindisfarne Festival
Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser
Lindisfarne is an independent music and creative arts festival on the stunning Northumberland coastline. With leading DJs and musicians, mouth-wateringly brilliant street food outlets, and some of the nation’s most respected alternative therapists – Lindisfarne festival is an event like no other.
Located on the breath-taking North East coast (half way between Newcastle & Edinburgh), with a spectacular backdrop of the mythical Holy Island, Festivalgoers can party until the early hours and sleep under the stars at one of the country’s best-kept secret festival locations.
Born out of the desire to create something special for the North East, Lindisfarne Festival came to life in early September 2015, when a 2000 strong crowd decended onto the glorious fields at Beal Farm to experience a weekend like no other.
From Friday through to Sunday, the inaugral festival played host to an incredible variety of both local and world renowned musicians and DJs, who performed an eclectic mix of indie, funk, rock, folk and dance music across four intimate music marquee venues.
Building on it's success from 2015, which resulted in 3 UK Festival Award nominations, Lindisfarne Festival promises to be even bigger and better in 2016.
