Immigrant Swing offers its own blend of Bristol Riot Swing - a high energy, foot stomping, acoustic music merging sounds from around the globe, with influences ranging from gypsy jazz and blues to Mediterranean folk and hip hop. A swinging rhythm section - driven by the Balkanic sounds of the tuba, manouche guitar rhythms and drums - provides the foundations for MCspokeMao to deliver his own style of beat-poetry, with clarinet and flute ripping through the melodic lines.
