Stacey Halls (The Familiars) and Elizabeth Macneal (The Doll Factory) present their debut historical novels won by their respective publishers after fierce and intense auctions and both set to make waves in 2019.
The Familiars is a spellbinding novel full of twists and turns, a beautiful tale of women and witchcraft inspired by a fascinating period of British history. The Doll Factory conjures 19th century London in all its grime and glory, exploring the world of the pre-Raphaelites and examining the position of women through Macneal’s unforgettable heroine.
