The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock In: Andrew Bird, The Noise Next Door
The Noise Next Door's Comedy Lock In is a 21st century mash-up of stand-up, panel shows and after hours banter. With this new breed of show you get two incredible stand-ups, plus a hefty dose of improve comedy from your hosts, The Noise Next Door. Expect death defying feats, kick-ass sing-a-longs and potentially libellous game show rip-offs!
This is an over 14s only event (under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes.
He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally.
'Superb... the exciting rising star' (Time Out)
'A natural comedian' (The Stage)
'Beautifully observed and insightful... not only an entertaining story but a very funny hour of fine stand-up' (Chortle)
'Effortlessly engaging and funny as hell' (Rhod Gilbert).

Improvised comedy at its best! This energetic fivesome transform audience suggestion into scenes, songs and scenarios in the blink of an eye, with hilarious consequences. With their perfect blend of ludicrous characters, barbed one liners, epic stories and musical extravagance, this team of slightly posh English blokes will have you in stitches with their fresh brand of off-the-cuff humour.
'What sets them apart is their great chemistry and genuine sense of joy they bring to the stage' (The List)
'Hilarious... A superior kind of chaos' (The Daily Telegraph)
'Comedy gold... Staggeringly well executed' (The Guardian)
'This is 21st century comedy at its very finest and funniest' (The Stage).
