Four Farces
A curious evening of merriment and madness. Dress in your Victorian best* for this delectable evening of old fashioned fun.
Currently on a national tour, European Arts Company presents an evening of one-act Farces from the Victorian stage. There’s more than a hint of Monty Python and The Goons in these four plays entitled Box and Cox, Wanted, A Young Lady, An Unwarrantable Intrusion and Duel in the Dark. Involving duelling pistols, cross dressing, thwarted lovers, double-crossing, romance and intoxication, these colourful comic capers promise a sublime evening of mayhem and merriment.
*Victorian Best - Corsets and bonnets, caps and moustaches, feathers and fans all welcome!
