Snitch

Mock The Week regular and star of his own BBC Radio 4 series, Rhys James heads out on his first national tour.

In early 2019, Rhys was asked to go back to his school and inspire the Year 11s. Given that teenagers are a nightmare and there was no fee, he ghosted the teacher who had emailed. Bit of a shame really, given that he’s figured out the true circle of life, has solved parenting despite having zero children, and even thinks he can predict the curriculum of schools in 50 years. Maybe he’ll inspire some Year 11s in 2069.

As also seen on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, and heard on Radio 4’s The News Quiz.

Rhys James appearing at this event

'Rhys James is a comedian who began performing in 2009 in student competitions such as Comedy Central's Funniest Student in 2010, and Chortle's Student Comedy Award. He made his Edinburgh debut as a performer for The Pleasance Comedy Reserve in 2010, and again in 2012 as a performer in AAA- Stand Up. He has also written material for Russell Howard's Good News (www.chortle.co.uk). He’s a super-sharp writer, with a ton of smart, intricately-written jokes and stories where you’re never more than a few seconds away from another punchline. 'Highly amusing' (The Stage).
