The annual Chinese New Year Gala organised by York Chinese Society & Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at University of York has now become the highlight of the Spring Festival tradition for all people in York.
The 2020 extravaganza will be a special celebration heralding the lunar year of the Rat, which represents the new beginning of of the Zodiac circle.
Everyone is welcome to join the 2.5-hour-long gala, featuring songs, dances, live band, choir and live orchestra; from ancient China to the modern genres, from traditional instrumentals to East-west fusions.
