Headlining the second weekend’s shows is Jonny Awsum who, after over a decade on the comedy circuit shot to fame and huge acclaim when he performed on Britain's Got Talent. His musical routines performed alongside Ant & Dec won a standing ovation from the theatre audience, a unanimous vote of approval from the judges and was seen by almost 20 million TV viewers on the show’s Live Finals. His performances on the show have since been viewed almost 50 million times on YouTube.

Supporting Jonny is fast-rising comedy star, Lauren Pattison who exploded on to the comedy scene when she sold out her entire run at the Edinburgh Festival with her highly acclaimed debut show. Last year she performed at Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, New Zealand and Kilkenny International Comedy Festivals and her second Edinburgh Fringe show once again sold out it’s entire run, added extra shows and enjoyed an extended run at London’s prestigious Soho Theatre.
On TV Lauren has appeared in ‘Comedy Central at the Comedy Store’, ‘Roast Battle’ hosted by Jimmy Carr and ‘Drunk History’ as well as numerous Radio 4 appearances.

Jonny's musings include everything from the white lies he tells his girlfriend to his new home town of Croydon and the memory of his first love at eight years old. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria. From Newcastle-on-Tyne and one of the brightest young talents on the comedy scene who is beginning to make her presence known across the country. Finishing runner-up in 2014's Funny Women, she went on to make the finals of almost every major comedy competition, including the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award in 2016. In August 2017 Lauren sold out her debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her critically acclaimed show Lady Muck. This 5 star show was so popular three extra shows were added and subsequently sold out. Not only was ‘Lady Muck’ the best reviewed show at The Pleasance this year, Lauren also won a Herald Angel Award and was nominated for Best Newcomer 2017 at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
