A Ceremony Of Carols
Britten was drawn to composing for Christmas, and this year (40 years since Britten’s death in December 1976) The Ebor Singers compliment the annual performance of A Ceremony of Carols with other seasonal pieces, including The Journey of the Magi, Hymn to the Virgin and Christ's Nativity, and the medievil and Renaissance carols that inspired him.
