tAngerinecAt is a Welsh duo whose powerful sonic rituals move between ceremonial industrial, post-metal, shamanic electronica, overtone vocals, spoken word, and trance-like rhythms, creating a mesmerising soundscape of doom and delight. Formed by Ukrainian-born, Wales-based producer, sound artist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Zhenia Purpurovsky alongside Wales-based sound artist Paul Chilton, the project is rooted in a fierce anti-war, anti-fascist, and anti-ecocide ethos, paired with a deep commitment to artistic innovation.
