BBC Big Band, Georgie Fame

Georgie Fame joins the BBC Big Band for this very special concert.

The internationally acclaimed BBC Big Band and conductor Barry Forgie, are joined by the incredible Georgie Fame, for one of only a select number of UK concert dates.

With more than twenty albums and fourteen hit singles including the Number 1s ‘Yeh Yeh’, ‘Get Away’ and’ The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde’, Georgie Fame enjoys legendary status on the international music scene. With his unmistakeable voice and much-loved blend of jazz and rhythm & blues, he makes his return to Worthing with the world’s leading jazz orchestra – a prospect to savour.

Through a diverse repertoire arranged and curated by the BBC Big Band and Georgie, the concert features classic big band numbers from the orchestra, alongside a selection of numbers from Georgie’s own library of Big Band music – including a selection of his best loved hits.
