Broadway To Hollywood
The internationally renowned BBC Big Band and their conductor Barry Forgie are joined by vocalist, Emer McParland, to celebrate the most memorable musical moments from Broadway to Hollywood.
Featuring music from the giants of early 20th Century Broadway Theatre and Hollywood Musicals, including Gershwin, Porter and Rodgers - whose work would go on to form the ‘The Great American Songbook’ – through to contemporary classics from shows such as Chicago and a selection tracks from some of the greatest Hollywood sound-tracks of all time. A not-to-be-missed evening for all music fans.
