Captain Starfighter and the Lockheeds are a group of like minded individual's with a history in, and a Love of SpaceRock.
Playing classic Robert Calvert era Hawkwind tunes (and some solo work) with a smile. The band consists of Dead Fred (Hawkwind, Inner City Unit, Hawklords, Krankschaft) Keys + Vocals. Steve Smith ( Doctor Hasbeen) Vocals. Vince Cory (Sonic Trip Project, Red Elektra 69, Nik Turner) Guitar. Darren Butler ( Sonic Trip Project, Red Elektra 69, Krankschaft) Drums. Lee Carr (Sonic Trip Project, Delphini, Black Light Secret) Bass. Daneel Olivor (Sonic Trip Project, Red Elektra 69, Nik Turner) Universal Adaptor + Ethereal Sounds.
Captain Starfighter and the Lockheeds are firm festival favourites and have had a very successful 2019 culminating in a recent sold out show at The Shephards Bush Empire, London. Classic space rock at its finest.
