Orchestra Of The Swan

For those unfamiliar with Piazzolla, this tango-inspired concerto for violin and orchestra combines easily recognisable elements from Vivaldi's better known model, but with the added excitement of turning the strings into an extended percussion section before reverting to a more traditional style which grabs the audience’s attention and delights the imagination!

An exciting combination of Baroque and 20th century, this is the first of three concerts with OOTS this autumn, directed by David Le Page from the violin.
