Sixty Years Of Writing: Black Tie Literary Dinner

Dinner hosted by Their Graces The Duke and Duchess of Marlborough in the Presence of HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO. Join the multi-talented actor television presenter writer doctor and director Sir Jonathan Miller as he reflects on 60 years of writing while you enjoy dinner in the splendid surroundings of the Orangery at Blenheim Palace.

Publication of On Further Reflection: 60 Years of Writing marks Miller's 80th birthday and contains extracts of his writings taken from the last 60 years. They give an insight into his life and the depth of his talent as an actor doctor television presenter film director opera director and sculptor.

Co-creator of the seminal comedy revue Beyond The Fringe, Jonathan Miller's writing helped launch the careers of Peter Cook, Dudley Moore and Alan Bennett. His talents and interests encompass many areas, from neuropsychology to the arts, atheism, criticism and comedy. Rarely a man to say no, Sir Jonathan says that his reputation as a polymath rests on 'being pathetically susceptible to someone knocking on my door with a frisbee in their hand saying Do you want to come out and play?' Jonathan Miller is also available for after-dinner speaking, work as a presenter and hosting awards and conferences.
