Doreen On Books
Join regional treasure and notorious lazy cow Doreen Tipton in the hallowed halls of the University of Wolverhampton, as she makes her own unique contribution to their literary festival.
The world’s most unlikely academic will deliver a truly unforgettable lecture on classic English Literature - from Shakespeare to Hello Magazine – and probably chuck in a couple of funny videos as well. Doreen will also expound several new theories which are bound to cause serious scholars to re-examine the entire universe.
This ground-breaking lecture will be followed by a meet and greet and selfie session and, for those that could be arsed, a book-signing of her worst-selling autobiography 'From Rug-Rats to Riches'.
In keeping with the fine traditions of promoting education for everyone, the lecture is not suitable for children under 15. Or indeed anyone who takes literature too seriously.
Session time - One hour.
