Martin Parr - Black Country Stories

Martin Parr’s fantastic Black Country Stories exhibition. The centrepiece of the show is arguably the wall of pictures, more than 400 photos offer a glimpse of everyday life here in the black country. It’s certainly a talking point and so many visitors are coming in and spending a great deal of time trying to find themselves in the photos.

There are also a number of larger images featuring people and personalities from Wolverhampton.
Finally, there are a selection of films being shown. These were filmed by Martin during his exploration of the area. They include behind-the-scenes filming at Tudor Crystal and Teddy Gray’s sweet factory.
