In the summer of 1973 at the height of his fame, Slade’s drummer Don Powell was involved in a devastating car accident, leaving him with brain injury that resulted in severe and lasting memory loss.
Award winning writer and performer Ian Pearce collaborated with Don to recreate the emotional journey to recovery in this gripping and emotional one man show. Imagine being on stage in front of thousands of people in the US and you can’t remember your number one hit Cum On Feel the Noize!
Ian worked closely with Don Powell to create this story. Don Powell will appear in person at Water Rats, with Ian to discuss the events and to take questions from the audience.
