Dirty Rotten Scoundrels: The Musical

Based on the Hollywood hit film starring Steve Martin and Michae lCaine, and directed by the legendary Frank Oz, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels recently became the West End’s favourite comedy musical. From the team that brought you Sister Act and Oliver!, SWMTC presents this highly entertaining musical to Theatre Royal Windsor. Two conmen, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Rivieracollide in this local amateur production.

Lawrence and Freddy are conmen, one suave and sophisticated, the other a small time swindler,both targeting wealthy unsuspecting women on the French Riviera. Having tried unsuccessfully to work together, they decide the townisn’t big enough for both of them and agree on a solution. Whoever is the first to relieve a wealthy young heiress of $50,000 will stay and the loser must leave the area. The bet brings out the best and worst in them – but who is conning who?
