Hampshire Youth Concert Band

A Tribute and Celebration has been arranged to commemorate the lives of John Knight and his wife Gladys (who died last September) on Sunday 2nd April at Winchester Guildhall, commencing at 14.30.

Appropriately, a band comprising former Hampshire Youth Concert Band members who still play regularly, directed by Chris Davis, will provide music for this occasion, together with shared anecdotes and readings in celebration of the lives of this much loved and highly respected couple who gave unstintingly of themselves to ensure that the musical talents, character and varied abilities of selected young people throughout Hampshire would fulfil their true potential.
