We proudly present a wonderful concert with Russell Watson known as the “People’s Tenor” and who is credited with being the “UK’s Best Selling Classical Artist” with over seven million album sales to date.

Russell held the number one spot in the USA for his debut album ‘The Voice’, making him the first British male singer to hold the accolade of a simultaneous transatlantic number one.
His second studio album ‘Encore’ soon followed, it became an even greater success selling almost two million copies worldwide. During this period Russell was rewarded with various awards including four Classical Brits.
Joining Russell as a special guest is the award - winning Mezzo Soprano, Danielle Louise Thomas who performs throughout the UK and internationally and is known as 'The Voice of Liverpool'.
Salford's answer to Pavarotti whose debut album 'The Voice' established him as a major international tenor. After starting in the pubs and working men's clubs of the north west of England, he soon notched up unprecedented chart success on both sides of the Atlantic; sang for the likes George W Bush and the Pope; and performed more times at Wembley than Beckham and Owen. To date, Russell has released eleven albums, won four Classical BRIT Awards and has sold over eight million records worldwide. He is also the first British male artiste to hold simultaneous number ones in the USA and the UK.
