Wigton Christmas Lights
This year’ Wigton Christmas Lights Switch On will take place on Sunday 25 November with entertainment starting from 2.45pm. The show will include vocal duo Roberts & Ashcroft, local star Matthew Pagen, five piece Thursby band Room 101, local sensations The Alleys, Chris Brown and finishing with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ finalists The Mend. The lights will be switched on during the celebrations at 5.30pm.
In addition to the entertainment there will also be a Craft Fair in the Market Hall, the high street will be lined with stalls, face painting at Café Twelve 62 and Santa will be in the Youth Station from 12pm - 4pm.
