An Evening With
This is a one-off, never to be repeated evening of music, poetry and stories with three of folk music’s finest.
The evening will feature a miscellany of songs and stories from the extraordinary and extensive career of Ashley Hutchings, Judy Dunlop’s masterful interpretation of both traditional folk and modern songs and Blair Dunlop’s stunning guitar playing and songs from his recent albums. There will also be a tip of the hat to the forthcoming Christmas season, before Ashley embarks on his UK tour with the Albion Christmas Band.
There will be no support on the evening…just Ashley, Judy, Blair and the wonderful setting and acoustics of Wigan Parish Church.
This concert is being held in honour of the memory of Acoustic Roots Wigan founder and legendary concert promoter, David Cartlidge.
All profits will be donated to WIgan and Leigh Hospice.
