Ric Sanders Trio, Tim Lee

Ric Sanders playing career first started in 1972 when he toured Europe with Stomu Yamash'ta. After this he was a member of Soft Machine for several years. He later went on to join The Albion Band and made a significant contribution to their key album " Rise up like the Sun ". He has also done session work for artists such as Rick Wakeman, Jethro Tull and Robert Plant. His most long lasting claim to fame is that he has been a member of Fairport Convention since 1984. He is joined in the trio by Vo Fletcher on guitar and vocals and Michael Gregory on Drums and percussion They are both highly regarded musicians with a wide range of influences . You may possibly hear songs by Warren Zevon, The Beatles , and even reinterpretations of Fairport material. We are very pleased to have a rare gig with these 3 supremely talented musicians.

Our opening artist for the evening is Tim Lee. Tim has been working at his craft for some time now and his songs have an insighful quality to them. His latest album might well be his best so far.
