Never miss another 'Pierre Hollins' show
Another Brilliant Night Of Top Name Comedians: Pierre Hollins, Matt Welcome, Sandy Wardrop, Nick Wilty
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
A veteran of the comedy circuit and a regular at Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, described variously as 'far-fetched and semi-dangerous' and 'silly and daft'. Watch out for his bizarre mixture of stand up and song, including his one string electric squash racquet! His 'songs' are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat and cover topics from love and hate, to sex and politics. With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance.
'... the amiable Pierre Hollins with his compelling chatty style and absurd guitar posturing... With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance...' (Funhouse Comedy).
Pierre Hollins tour dates
A long-established act on the UK comedy circuit with TV credits that include ITV's 'Live At Jongleurs'
Matt Welcome tour dates
No stranger to the circuit, he has won many awards and his TV appearances include Punt & Dennis, Rory Bremner and Paul Merton. He has also been warm-up comedian for Smith & Jones; in fact Mel Smith called him 'The best warm-up act in the business'.
In 2004 Wilty hit the headlines for the wrong reasons after an unwanted genital piercing in a camping accident at the Glastonbury Festival. That didn't stop him compering the cabaret tent two days later. 'I decided to show the front row the close-ups on my digital camera. As I went along the line, their heads went back in disgust. It was like a Mexican wave of revulsion.' What a professional!
